Staying fit is no picnic for Stacy Keibler, who swears by a gluten-free diet, daily sweat sessions and a cellulite-blasting beauty technique called dry skin brushing. The 33-year-old actress, who appears on the latest cover of NewBeauty magazine, opened up about her experience with a strict detox diet called the Clean Cleanse.
“My life changed when I did the 21-day clean program,” Keibler said. “I eliminated sugar, fruit, beans, corn and gluten and looked at it as an experiment with my body.” The leggy, longtime girlfriend of Hollywood heartthrob George Clooney also tries to squeeze in daily meditation, and admits she gets her golden glow the old-fashioned way.
“I do believe that getting a little bit of Vitamin D, natural Vitamin D from the sun, is really important,” she told the magazine. “Just go out for five minutes, get a little bit of sun. It really does something for your overall wellbeing.”
When it comes to her silky smooth legs, Keibler touts the power of dry skin brushing, vigorously scrubbing her gams with a body brush. It removes dead skin, improves circulation and cell renewal, which boosts lymphatic drainage and releases toxins. But to look like Keibler, a former professional wrestler, diet and beauty tips alone won’t cut it.
The blond beauty says daily workouts are key.
“My fitness tip is to try and sweat every single day,” she told the magazine. “Even if you can just do jumping jacks in your house for ten minutes, and that’s all you can get in.”
